About this site

A neighbor-to-neighbor effort

A resident-led effort to understand and support the proposed amendments to the Wexford Covenants.

What this site is

Wexford Covenant Amendments is a resident-led effort to help neighbors in Wexford (Durham, North Carolina) understand and support the proposed amendments to the subdivision's covenants. It gathers the full legal text and plain-language summaries of each proposed amendment in one place so every homeowner can read exactly what is being proposed before deciding whether to lend their support.

Who runs it

This site is built and maintained by Wexford neighbors — volunteers who live here and support adopting the proposed amendments. It is an independent, grassroots effort, not a product of any management company or law firm.

How support is gathered

Support is collected the old-fashioned way: with wet (ink-on-paper) signatures, gathered door to door by neighbors. Roughly two-thirds of the subdivision's lots need to sign on for an amendment to take effect. You can read the proposed amendments and follow the progress of the drive at any time.
